This Privacy Policy explains how GarageInsulators.com (“GarageInsulators.com,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information submitted through garageinsulators.com when you contact us or request a garage-door insulation estimate.
Information you may provide
When you request an estimate, we may collect your name, email address, city, ZIP code, optional street address, garage-door type and quantity, information you provide about the door’s visible condition and your goals, notes you choose to add, and the garage-door photos you upload.
Please avoid including people, license plates, documents, or unrelated personal information in uploaded photos when possible.
Information used to operate and secure the site
Our website and security providers may process limited technical information needed to deliver the site, protect the estimate form from abuse, diagnose failures, and maintain security. This can include network and request information such as IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, and security-verification data. We do not ask you to provide a phone number for the estimate form.
How we use information
We use estimate-request information to review your garage door, determine whether a retrofit may be appropriate, prepare or clarify an estimate, respond to you by email, schedule or provide requested services when applicable, maintain service records, prevent abuse, and address operational or legal issues relating to a request.
Submitting an estimate request does not enroll you in promotional email or text-message marketing.
Photos and estimate records
Garage-door photos are used for estimate and service-review purposes. Uploaded photos are stored in private service infrastructure and are not intended to be publicly accessible.
Retention: Unless the information is needed longer for an active service request, business record, dispute, security matter, or legal obligation, we generally schedule estimate inquiries and uploaded photos for deletion after 180 days.
Service providers
We use service providers to operate the website and process estimate requests. Our current infrastructure includes Cloudflare services for website delivery, security, data storage, and email routing/notification. These providers process information as needed to provide those services to us.
Internal notifications and email
Estimate requests generate an internal notification so the request can be reviewed. Customer-facing communication is handled through GarageInsulators.com email. Please allow 2–3 business days for estimate-review responses unless we tell you otherwise.
Sales, advertising, and marketing lists
GarageInsulators.com does not use estimate-request information to enroll you automatically in a promotional mailing list. We do not sell estimate-request information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your choices and requests
You may contact us to ask a question about information you submitted, request a correction, or request deletion of an estimate inquiry, subject to information we may need to retain for an active service request, business records, security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.
Security
We use reasonable technical and operational measures intended to protect estimate information. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not send passwords, financial account information, government identification numbers, medical information, or other sensitive information through the estimate form.
Children
The estimate form is intended for people seeking services for a property and is not designed for children to submit personal information.
Changes to this policy
If our website, data practices, or service providers materially change, we may update this policy and change the effective date above.
